faq

are nursing bras really necessary? why can't I just wear a normal bra?
Traditional bras don’t have room for the rib cage to expand during pregnancy and aren't designed for flexibility of fit and challenges your boobs and body are gonna face during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Projectme bras have a magnetic clip at the top of each cup that opens to allow you to feed or pump, with extra rows of hooks and eyes for a forgiving fit.

can I really wear a wired bra?
Absolutely! Projectme bras use special flexi-wire technology meaning they will support the girls as they move and change. In the early days of breastfeeding, your breasts are changing so much a non-wired bra may be an easier choice to avoid trouble with clogged ducts. We totally recommend a professional fitting to make sure you have the perfect Projectme bra for you at your individual stage.

whats an A-frame or side sling?
Projectme bras feature an internal A-frame layer or side-sling support to hold your bust while you feed or pump. Simply unclip the magnetic clip at the top of the cup/strap to open. The A-frame provides a fuller support and coverage over the bust when the cup is dropped down for feeding, great for when you feel sensitive or dont want to bare all. Side-slings hold the bust from the side of the cup during feeding, with less coverage when you're feeling more au-naturel and for better skin-on-skin contact.

how many nursing bras do I need?
At least 3-4 ensures you will always have a clean, dry bra available and can choose the style based on your mood or need. We know when you shop our collections you’ll want more!

if I buy a maternity/nursing bra early on, will I use it again if I grow out of it?
Absolutely! When the amount you are feeding has slowed down and your boobs have reduced in size you can often return to your earlier size.

should I buy my bra one size up to allow room to grow?
No! The bra will not be supportive, not to mention uncomfortable. All of our bras have 6 rows of hooks and eyes to allow room for expansion in the diaphragm. And our fabrics all have stretch in them for support and comfort. An initial fitting at 3-4 months and a follow up fitting at around 7 months (or essentially when you feel that things are changing) should ensure that you are wearing the best fitting and most supportive size for your bust.

what if I can't find my size on your store?

how should I care for my projectme lingerie?
Wash and protect - Check the label on the garment for specific instructions for your style. Bra's are best hooked together at the back and placed in a wash bag. This quick step will totally lengthen the life of your bra, stopping it getting caught on your machine and catching other items.
ban the bleach - Think eco and skip the harmful cleaners like bleach and select a kind washing powder for your lingerie. Wash lights and darks separately to keep colours looking en-point.
ditch the dryer - Drape in the shade and bypass the tumble dryer. Both sunlight and heat will damage the elastics and cause fading of your delicates.

*Magnetic nursing clips are not suitable to use for mothers with pacemakers or defibrillators

my discount code wont work?
Discount codes are not applicable on sales/promotions. From time to time we have sales or promotions, however the use of further discount codes are exempt for these. Your discount code will work again once the sale is over if it is still valid.


where is my order?
Delivery times vary depending on your shipping location, so please allow 48 hours for your order to be processed before querying your delivery. Please refer to our shipping and returns page for more info.
Upon placing an order your will receive a confirmation email. Your order status can be checked by logging into your account once this email has been received.
If you fail to receive a confirmation email, please check your spam inbox or email the projectme support team.
Please note peak times such as Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Boxing Day may experience a slight delay in delivery times.

will I be charged customs and import charges?
There are no duties on parcels throughout the US, however customs and duties charges may apply for Canada and various other countries. Projectme cannot predict and is not responsible for any customs or duty charges that the recipient may incur. To confirm charges for your country/state/region please contact your local customs department.


how do I exchange an item?
If you need to return or exchange an item, simply visit shipping and returns and follow the instructions. If you have a fault, please email us.

what is projectme return policy?
Projectme has a generous 30 day returns policy giving you time to try on your garments and be sure of the fit. Due to hygiene reasons briefs are unable to be returned unless the garment received was faulty. All other full priced items are eligible for a full refund or exchange. Clearance items are eligible for an exchange or store credit only but not a refund.
We ask that the garment has not been worn, all tags are attached, returned within the 30-day-return period and that you take care to protect the garment when posting. Any item(s) returned in any other condition will not be eligible for return. Refunds will be issued by the same method as payment.

who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping is not refundable, however you will not be charged shipping for faulty items or for replacement items to be sent to you.


how long will it take for my return to be processed?
We aim to process your return within 3 - 5 working days of receiving it. You will be contacted by email to let you know we have received it.
 
i bought an item from another retailer - can i exchange/return it directly with project me?
We can only process your return if you purchased directly from us. If you purchase a projectme garment from another store, you will need to contact that store for any returns or exchanges.

when does my gift voucher or store credit expire?
projectme gift vouchers and store credits normally expiry one year from date of purchase/issue.
